about me
Raised in the Pine Barrens
I am an author, I was born in southern New Jersey. I moved to the Pine Barrens at an early age and discovered the many creatures of the forest. This is a beautiful place filled with lore and mystery. After graduating high school I began my trek towards the west coast. I love my roots, and think of home often. Every return is a homecoming to be remembered.
Living in the Bluegrass
Though I dreamed of the California coast, I made my way through Appalachia and landed in Kentucky. I have been here more than half my life. This is a land rich in beauty and natural wonder. The commonwealth is well known for its Tobacco, Bourbon, Horses, Coal, College Basketball and football, and the loyalist fans you could ever meet. A short drive will put you back into the hills, or to a river, or slow creek. A visit to the local fishing hole will provide stories that can be told into the night.
The best of both
With great pleasure, I have been able to enjoy the best of the Blue Grass and the Pine Barrens. I have had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people, and their personalities, and lives all color my writing. People often ask me, "what kind of books do you write?" The simple truth is, I write about real people in unreal situations. Women don't run from villains in their high heels in my stories, because a real woman when threatened is smart enough to take off those shoes and run... and some will even fight back. No one goes back to see if the bad guy is dead in my stories. They make sure he is dead and never gets up again. So if you would like a good read about real people, real love, and unreal circumstances... Pick up a book and come sit by the fire with me.
